In modern armed forces, the Toughbook is used for all relevant communication and reconnaissance processes. It is a crucial element in maintaining communication with the base and ensuring the best possible execution of reconnaissance. An interruption in communication can mean the worst for the armed forces in action.
Today’s armed forces carry all kinds of electrical loads with them on operations. Many of these can be powered by standard military batteries such as the BB2590. To ensure the Toughbook does not run out of battery power, additional special batteries are required, which in turn increase the weight and space requirements in a soldier’s luggage.
The JENNY 600S and the Power Manager 3G can be used to charge the Toughbook’s battery directly – regardless of the weather. There is no need to carry additional batteries. The military-hardened JENNY 600S is extremely quiet and efficient. Additionally, other batteries such as BB2590 or CWB can also be reliably charged during use.
